Dorint Parkhotel Meißen

Excellent location of the hotel with exceptional views from the room window to the Elbe and old town. One of the staff members (older gentleman) was competent and very nice to us. The parking was without fuss.

The location across the Elbe from the schloss is excellent. We sat on the lawn before dinner with a beer and a perfect view. The other highlight of the stay was the wonderful meal served in the excellent restaurant. The waiter ensured we made the right choices including a local white wine to accompany the main course.

Friendly staff, great view and bathtub. Overall you can feel a home and requests are taken care of. For a first in their hotel I was received as an old returning customer. View from room is great, upon request and from also from the breakfast area.

We loved our weekend stay in Meißen! The hotel is conveniently located near the train station and offers an outstanding view of the castle. Our room was simple and clean, and it had a bathtub, which was super nice to use after a day of walking. We also recommend having breakfast at the hotel because most of the cafés in the city don't open until 10 AM.

Very good stay. Staff guidance at check-in was very clear and helpful and made us feel very welcome to start our stay. The location was excellent, with beautiful views of the castle across the river and easy walking access to the city centre. Breakfast was very satisfying with an excellent selection.
